Robin Hood benefit raises $48m

The Robin Hood foundation raised a record $48 million at its 17th annual benefit on Wednesday evening in New York. The nonprofit group, founded by Paul Tudor Jones II in 1988, targets poverty in New York City through partnerships with more than 140 organizations.
