Ecofin opens New York office

Ecofin, the fast-growing London-based global utilities specialist, has opened an office in New York to help the firm keep a closer eye on developments in the U.S. utility sector.

The new office - located at Rockefeller Plaza - will be headed by William Maze, a senior U.S. utilities analyst and portfolio manager. Maze joined Ecofin in 2005 from Neuberger Berman in New York. He was based in London briefly before returning to New York.
