Harvard alumni oppose high fees for ex-endowment pros

The same Harvard alumni who decried the high salaries that the university paid to its endowment managers are now lashing out against paying high fees to money managers who operate outside it.

The group of alumni whose complaints led to former endowment chief Jack Meyer quitting earlier this month has now sent a warning to university president, Lawrence Summers. They stated that the school should "brace for enormous opposition" if it pays the former managers more money to run the school's assets after they left than it did while they were there.
