Alex Roepers' long/short Cambrian strategy at New York-based
Atlantic Investment Management gained a hefty 7.8% in April,
leaving the fund up 5.9% on the year for its Class-A shares.
But with the surge in equities that swept markets in April,
being hedged on the short side was apparently laden with
