Michael Marcus, one of the former Commodity Corporation's most profitable traders, plans to open a global macro fund in January. Marcus has been out of professional money management since leaving Commodities Corp. in 1988, but since then has traded his own macro account and pursued various types of other investments, including oil drilling.
