Arvind Sanger, a former star portfolio manager at SAC Capital Advisors, has begun marketing his own long/short hedge fund.

The natural resources and industrial stock specialist is looking to raise $500 million to $600 million for his GeoSphere Capital. The amount is said to be well within the gross asset base that he ran at SAC, where he managed one of the $12 billon...
