Europe's largest independent private banking group adds long/short equity
Luxembourg-headquartered private banking group Sal. Oppenheim has launched a European long/short equity fund, the firm's second single-strategy hedge fund, as part of its expansion of its alternative investment business.
The SOAR European Equity Fund launched on 19 November with €50 million in seed capital from the bank. The Irish-domiciled fund is advised from Zurich by a team of Sal. Oppenheim veterans including Cengiz Sen, the fund's chief investment adviser.
