CQS rolls out new global volatility strategy

CQS, the $9.6 billion London-headquartered global firm led by Michael Hintze, is adding to its growing product range with the launch of a highly scalable new global equity volatility trading fund that is kicking off with initial assets of $160 million.

The CQS Global Volatility Fund will be run by senior portfolio managers Andy Song and Amir Kooros – who lead a team of nine derivative investment professionals – and is based around strategies that have been successfully traded within the firm’s flagship CQS fund.
