Unease dominates packed InvestHedge Forum

Extreme unease, resulting from unstable market conditions, was the prevailing mood at this year’s annual InvestHedge Forum, a major gathering of hedge fund investors and managers held in London this week in association with EuroHedge. Both are sister publications of Absolute Return.

In light of broadly negative performance on the part of hedge funds and funds of hedge funds, some of the speakers were at pains to reinforce the value of those investment models given the advantages – in terms of relative returns and diversification – that they continue to provide in the current markets.
