Widespread losses predicted, as investors pull $43 billion from U.S. hedge funds in September

Investor redemptions from U.S. hedge funds reached $43 billion in September, according to an analysis of 1,639 funds conducted by TrimTabs Investment Research.

The research consultancy expects that the total figure, which is based on preliminary numbers, is likely to be higher in the final reckoning and to be surpassed by outflows in October.
