Trent May joined the $6.1 billion Wyoming Retirement System last month as the pension fund's first chief investment officer.

Previously, May managed his own firm, Deer Creek Capital Partners in Colorado, focusing on technology, biotechnology, telecommunications and consumer cyclical industries.
