Gottex is latest to build a managed accounts platform

Gottex Fund Management is the latest funds of funds group to turn to managed accounts to address investor concerns about asset ownership and liquidity.

Gottex has formed a separate service company, Gottex Solutions Services (GSS), which will build and operate the platform. The platform will be used for both the $9.6 billion Gottex funds of funds business, as well as making the funds available for investors wanting to buy managed accounts directly.
