Neil Barsky has decided to shutter Alson Capital Partners, the long/short equity firm he founded in 2002, and retire from the investment business. The firm managed a peak of $3.2 billion in January 2008 but sank to $900 million at present following redemptions and a loss of 24.22% in 2008.
