Iser, Nagaraj, Prasad and Ciancaleoni top the Factset's competition for the first quarter
Anthony Iser of UBS has led the way in the first quarter of 2009 in the AlphaStars competition sponsored by FactSet. He clocked a 72.6% relative return to the S&P ASX 200, way ahead of his peers in the Australia category of the competition. In a UBS clean sweep of the top spots in Australia, Stuart Brownrigg made a 40% return, slightly ahead of Jon Farthing on 37.8%.
In Japan, Nikko Citigroup's Mattia Ciancaleoni continues to clock the best returns. He was up 56.7% in the first quarter relative to the MSCI Japan index. Osama Ito of Mizuho Securities also did well with a 50.1% gain to keep Japan from being a clean sweep for Nikko Citigroup. Kentaro Takeuchi, again of Nikko Citigroup was third with a return of 38.4%.
