Fortrinn takes on MKM volatility trading funds

A new start for an established operation is the message behind the formal launch in March of Fortrinn Partners, the London-based investment manager created at the end of last year that has taken over the running of two volatility trading funds previously managed by MKM Longboat.

MKM Longboat's main multi-strategy flagship fund shut down last year and the firm has now closed down too, following the departure of former founders Mike Humphries and Martin Tonnby.
