Senator's good governance leads to gains

Senator Investment Group, launched last year by a pair of York Capital Management alums, is thriving at a time when most new funds are finding it difficult to raise assets. The New York firm has been profitable since inception and now manages $340 million, having launched with $200 million. It received $150 million in seed funding from Blackstone Strategic Alliance Fund.
