New AIMA guide sets out best investment practices for fund of hedge funds businesses

The Alternative Investment Management Association has just issued The Guide to Sound Practices for Funds of Hedge Funds Managers, a first designed for the funds of hedge funds industry that is aimed primarily at investors, managers, advisors and other stakeholders.

The guide sets out clear recommendations for sound practices in the following areas: creating and managing a funds of hedge funds business; investment process and portfolio risk management; administration and operations; raising capital and investor relations; and fund structures and governance. InvestHedge will take a deeper look at the contents of the guide in the June 2009 issue.
