Sal. Oppenheim, the Luxembourg-headquartered private banking group, has continued to perform strongly with its long/short equity hedge fund after the hiring of a new portfolio manager late last year. The firm's SOAR European Equity Fund, which earned a EuroHedge Award nomination for its 18.29% gain in 2008, is up 4.55% this year through March. Sal.
