Glenview on rebound as Robbins moves back to basics

Larry Robbins, founder of Glenview Capital Management, has gone back to basics after a tough 2008 in which his flagship fund lost 49%. In a May 12 letter to investors, Robbins wrote that the Glenview team is "focused on our core mandate without distraction" and that he himself has "ceded control of almost all non-investment matters" with the exception of writing quarterly letters and communicating with clients.
