Centaurus Capital, the long-running London-based event-driven hedge fund led by former BNP Paribas men Bernard Oppetit and Randy Freeman, is off to a strong start with its new International Risk Arbitrage fund, following the decision to move from a multi-strategy to a multi-fund approach after the problems of 2008.
