Sanjiv Duggal is the manager of the HSBC Indian Alpha Fund and has been involved in the management of the flagship HSBC GIF Indian Equity Fund since April 1996. After surviving a punishing year for Indian hedge fund managers, Duggal has taken the India Alpha Fund back beyond its high-water mark in 2009 and now sees plenty of reasons to be excited about the Indian market in the months ahead.
