Long/shorts cash in as equities rally continues

August was a strong month overall for European long/short equity players on the back of the strong equity market rally.

Few funds were negative, with some posting double-digit gains. Sandbourne Fund was up 15.48% taking three-month numbers to 24.99% while veteran manager John Innes' RWC Pilgrim gained 13.48% to leave three-month figures at 20.24%.
