Aksia, a New York-based hedge fund research and advisory firm, has opened up in Europe with a London office. The new office will be headed up by Valerie Benard, former head of European business development and investor relations for Blackstone Alternative Asset Management. Benard joined as Aksia's ninth partner in September.
