Polygon gets its timing right as new single-strategy focus pays

The restructuring of Polygon from a multi-strategy to a multi-fund firm is off to a promising start, with the firm rolling out its first two single-strategy products and generating strong performance in their first few months of trading.

The launch of the funds targeting convertible bonds and European equities marks the first phase of a change of business strategy by the firm's principals in the wake of the decision taken at the end of 2008 to unwind the former flagship multi-strategy fund.
