Experienced former Cheyne and Morgan Stanley European equities trader Dietmar Schmitt is racking up impressive gains with his SAM Capital large-cap liquid trading strategy

Most long/short European equity managers claim to do something unique - or at least different from the pack, although the universe of funds that actually do stand out from the crowd in terms of their philosophy or approach is rather smaller.

But one that can make that claim to differentiation with more validity than most is SAM Capital, the London-based firm led by long-standing former Cheyne, Morgan Stanley and Dresdner equities trader Dietmar Schmitt.
