Evenstar aims to offer best of both from hedge funds and private equity

Evenstar prides itself on handling volatile markets, and its Sub Fund I Segregated Portfolio proves it's got the brawn to stay the distance, even in exceptional market conditions

Although the fund management industry is divided into distinct universes - long-only, hedge fund and private equity, for example - at an individual fund level the lines between such categories are not always so clear.

In the case of Hong Kong-based Evenstar Advisors, the best features from the world of private equity have been successfully integrated into a hedge fund, aimed at giving investors an opportunity to have the best of both worlds.
