A pair of seasoned ex-Citi traders have teamed up to launch a new macro/relative value fund that will focus on interest rates and FX in developed markets, with a particular emphasis on the UK.
The firm is called Loegria - a nod to its UK specialisation, as the word is one first used in medieval times to refer to Arthurian England - and will launch its debut Loegria Macro Rates Fund in May.
The founders are Guy Godfrey and Simon Holmes, who worked together at Citi in the mid-1990s.
