February was a mixed month for European long/short equity hedge funds, with a wide dispersion of returns in volatile markets.
Hugh Hendry's Eclectica had a strong month, a 5.19% gain taking three-month numbers to 4.73%. It was a good month, also, for the big Lansdowne UK fund - which saw a 4.58% monthly gain taking three-month numbers to 2.58%.
