Gartmore clears Rambourg, adds O'Dea to team

Following the completion of an internal investigation, Gartmore has announced that its star European equity fund manager Guillaume Rambourg, who was suspended in relation to a possible breach of an internal policy, will return to work on the firm's European large-cap equity team with immediate effect - initially as an investment analyst.

In a separate move to strengthen the firm's fund management team, Gartmore has hired Darrell O'Dea, a leading European long-only and hedge fund manager who was formerly the manager of Threadneedle's flagship European Crescendo long/short equity hedge fund and the manager of several other high-performing Threadneedle European equity funds.
