Theorema Asset Management co-founder Emanuele Antonaci is up and running with his new Farema Capital long/short equity operation, which launched in March with initial assets of some $65 million.

Antonaci, who founded Theorema in 2001 and was previously a portfolio manager at Fidelity, has assembled a strong team of six people for the new venture - which marks a return to the hedge fund industry after a two-year break in which he has been successfully managing his own money.
Joining him at Farema are analysts and sector specialists James Downie and Owen Taylor, trader Pierre-Arnaud Ladoux, investor relations head Aimone Beretta and COO Yimeng Liu.
