The repositioning of Polygon from a multi-strategy to a multi-fund firm is providing strong results for early investors in the new strategies, with the firm racking up excellent performance with its first two single-strategy products after their first year.

The Polygon Convertible Opportunity Fund, run by former MKM Longboat founder Mike Humphries and his team, including convertible specialist and fund principal Rob Dorfman, was up by over 58% after completing its first 12 months to the end of April.

The event-focused Polygon European Equity Opportunity Fund - led by Reade Griffith, who has specialised in global event-driven investing for over 15 years from his time at Citadel before co-founding Polygon with Paddy Dear in 2002 - is also annualising at 57% after 11 months of trading.
