EFAMA appoints a new deputy director general

Jarkko Syyrilä has been appointed to the newly created role of deputy director general the European Fund and Asset Management Association.
Syyrilä, joined today (1 October 2010), from the UK’s Investment Management Association in 2006 as head of European affairs in order to take forward the IMA’s initiatives to improve the single market on investment management. He moved on to become head of international affairs in 2007 and in 2008 was appointed director of international relations.
