The well known
events of that year included the banking crisis which resulted
in a lack of liquidity in the markets, the collapse of Lehman
Brothers and the closure or merger of many well known financial
institutions left its mark on most ordinary people.
It has also left
its imprint on financial markets and this legacy may still be
felt two decades after the event, according to Lonergan co-fund
manager of M&G’s Macro Episode UCITS fund
launched in June this year.
