The UCITS hedge funds industry to top more than a trillion dollars, report says

Assets in UCITS hedge funds could grow to more than $1.5 trillion by 2020, according to a new report.
20-page report, Alternative and hedge fund UCITS through
the next decade, by researchers Strategic Insight states
UCITS hedge funds are expected to raise more than $793.7
billion (€600 billion) of cumulative net new flows in the

billion) of net new flows, the report predicts. According to
the HedgeFund Intelligence database, there are currently around
600 funds with assets under management of $60
report states: "If 7% annual returns can be achieved in
combination with these flows, total assets in alternative UCITS
could grow to $1.5 trillion (€1.2 trillion) by
