Zadig Asset Management, the European long/short equity
specialist led by former Voltaire man Laurent Saglio, has hired
former HSBC European Alpha co-manager Vincent Bourgeois as a
portfolio manager to work on the firm's first long-only
Bourgeois, who has worked in equity investing for over 20
years at Oddo, Lazard, Bessent Capital and more recently as
HSBC Global Asset Management's alternative investments arm,
will be particularly involved in the running of Zadig's new
Memmon Fund, a Luxembourg-based long-only equity fund that the
firm plans to launch shortly.
Based in Zadig's London office, Bourgeois will also add to
the strength of the firm's European equity research team.
