The newly-ennobled Stanley Fink – who in January became Lord Fink – continues to find an astonishing amount of time and energy to throw into an amazing range of activities.
Well known throughout the hedge fund industry for his many successful years as Man Group CEO, he has since gone on to become very active in charities (with ARK and others), on climate change initiatives (backing Earth Capital Partners, among other things) and of course in politics – where he continues to be treasurer of the Conservative Party as well as now a member of the House of Lords.
Amid it all, however, Fink is still very firmly committed to the successful development of his new hedge fund business – International Standard Asset Management. And in 2010, ISAM also had a very busy and highly satisfactory year, completing its merger with Larry Hite’s Hite Capital Management, growing assets to around $500 million...
