Firms’ growth appetites gravitate toward Asia

Asia continues to be flavour of 2011, with China seen as the spiciest morsel. Most recently, Cambridge Associates chief executive officer Sandra Urie announced her plans to spend the next four months in Asia as the firm prepares to open an office in Beijing, while Max Gottschalk, a member of $8.3 billion Gottex Fund Management’s board, is heading to Hong Kong to expand the firm’s Asian presence.
