Credit Suisse unit AMF takes stake in fast-growing Lucidus

Lucidus Capital Partners, the fast-growing European long/short credit manager that was set up in 2009 by the long-running Green T team and is affiliated with US hedge fund group Caxton, has gained a new strategic partner in the form of Credit Suisse affiliate Asset Management Finance (AMF).

AMF has acquired a passive minority equity interest in Lucidus, which has offices in London and New York and is led by Darryl Green and Geoffrey Sherry. Following AMF’s investment, Lucidus said it would continue to operate in the same manner as in the past with the same staff and investment approach.
