The global assets of absolute return fund of funds using the UCITS wrapper increased by more than 17% in the second half of 2010, according to new research from the Absolute UCITS research and data team.
This rate of increase indicates that this multi-manager segment of the industry is not growing at the same pace as the underlying single-manager sector, which would appear to show that assets are coming into the industry at a fast rate via direct allocations from end-investors rather than via the FoF route.
