Moscow-based Arbat Capital is to launch a global emerging markets fund, with a particular focus on Russian equities.

The New Kremlin Fund will be managed by Yulia Bushueva, formerly of UniCredit Securities where she was head of research.

The fund will aim to profit from undervalued Russian stocks, which Bushueva believes are likely to see some re-rating in the wake of the upcoming election. However, in the short term at least, political risk within the portfolio will be hedged...
