Aradhna Dayal: There seems to be wide avail¬ability of domestic pools of capital for hedge funds in Singapore, including the GIC, Temasek and the local universities. Is that a criterion when setting up in Singapore?
Danny Yong: The pool of available capital is actually more attractive in Hong Kong because, other than, say, PAAMCO, the bulk of funds of funds and institutional investors are over there. As for the sovereign/government/university endowment investors in Singapore, we’ve seen some, but I wouldn’t say that this is a deciding factor for being in Singapore.
