Indian long/short funds hit hard in August firestorm

Median performance of Asia-focused long/short funds slipped 2.46% in August as most failed to withstand a significant spike in market volatility during the month.

The August tumble erased all gains made in July and brought year-to-date medians across all fund geographies into negative territory.

Australian long/short equity funds were least affected by market...
