Hermes BPK Partners unveils new CTA-focused managed account platform

Hermes BPK Partners, a $2.3 billion alternative advisory boutique and fund of hedge funds manager, has launched a managed account platform dedicated to offering its institutional investors access to managed futures. During the crisis of 2008, managed futures were found to be an effective buffer and as a strategy were up 15.8% for 2008, although in 2011 they were not as effective and the universe was down -2.63%, according to HedgeFund Intelligence.
