Major new French seeding platform Emergence has selected its first seeding partnership in the alternative investment space with a $40 million investment in Paris-based Eiffel Investment Group’s Eiffel Credit Opportunities Fund.
Emergence was set up earlier this year with the backing of seven major French institutional investors as part of a concerted effort by the French government to strengthen and develop the asset management business in France.
