Top hedge fund managers recommend longs and shorts in annual charity event.

For this year’s 17th annual confab at Lincoln Center, besides such typical picks as Apple and J.C. Penney, managers dug deep into their portfolios, coming up with paired Argentinean bond trades (Redwood Capital), specific commodities plays (Ospraie Management) and unusually broad picks from across the globe (Greenlight Capital).

A complete list of these hedge fund mavens’ advice follows. (See also  the mixed performance of last year’s recommendations.)
