Pictet builds fund range with Agora and Kronos equity vehicles

Pictet Asset Management, the asset management arm of Swiss private banking group Pictet et Cie, is expanding its growing roster of hedge fund strategies with the opening up to investors of two new long/short equity-focused funds.

The Geneva-based firm is making available to external investors the Agora Fund, a European long/short equity/event strategy run by Elif Aktug – a former partner of Goldman Sachs and a senior member of the investment bank’s highly-rated principal strategies group.
