Firm hires Chuck Clarvit, who resigned as co-head of BlackRock Alternative Advisors last year.
Brazilian asset manager Vinci Partners is making a splash in North America, hiring the former co-head of BlackRock Alternative Advisors to be chief executive of its American arm and laying out plans to incubate emerging managers with major investments.
Vinci, which manages about $1.4 billion in two Rio de Janeiro-based hedge funds, hired Chuck Clarvit at the end of April to serve as CEO of Vinci USA.
