After eight years at the helm of Hong Kong-based Blue Pool
Capital, co-founder Alexander West is taking on more
responsibility rather than less. Starting at the beginning of
2011, West was reinstated as the sole risk taker, making all
the firm's investment decisions. The choice to go "back to
square one" has been a change for the better as well as a
