Kathleen Casey, a Republican U.S. Securities and Exchange Commissioner from 2006 to 2011, has been selected to chair the Alternative Investment Management Association, according to a person familiar with the situation. A formal announcement is expected tomorrow.
Casey replaces outgoing chairman Todd Groome following the end of his two consecutive two-year term as one of the hedge fund industry’s most prominent lobbyists. The chairman’s role is part time,...
