The three writers will share the stage for the first time.

Few hedge fund books have been discussed as much as those by Simon Lack (The Hedge Fund Mirage), Jack Schwager (the Market Wizards books) and Steven Drobny (Inside the House of Money, The Invisible Hands).

For the first time, the three noted authors will share the same stage to discuss their work and the state of the hedge fund industry on the second day of the Absolute Return Symposium in New York City, November 2.

Besides being distinguished authors, Drobny is also the founder of Drobny Global Asset Management, a global macro asset management and advisory firm; Lack is the founder of SL Advisors, which runs investment strategies that seek alternative sources of income away from traditional bond investing; and Schwager is co-portfolio manager for the ADM Investor Services Diversified Strategies Fund, a portfolio of futures and FX managed accounts.

Lack, Schwager and Drobny join other prominent managers and speakers at the annual event. They include Dinakar Singh, founding partner of $4.5 billion TPG-Axon Capital; Steve Tananbaum, chief investment officer of $10.5 billion GoldenTree Asset Management; David Warren, chief executive officer of $4 billion DW Investment Management and manager of the Brevan Howard Credit Catalysts Master Fund; and Deepak Narula, founder of $1.4 billion Metacapital Management, among other industry leaders.
